These straps work great. It takes some practice to get the hammock comfortable as far as how it is hung, and distance from the ground, but once you set up a few times its easy.

I bought this kinda on a whim during the Memorial day sale. Wow. Wish I would have bought one years ago. I have been using constantly since it arrived. My favorite use so far is taking it in my pack when i go mountain biking. I live in the eastern sierras and stunning views are many when riding around on the mountains. In 3 mins i can have my own personal swinging seat with a front row view of majestic mountains set up. Pack it down even faster than that. I'm going to order the rain fly and bug net for backpacking. Just Great!!

The slap straps are great. I bought a set of these along w/ a double nest hammock for me& my wife. Once we realized how easy they made hanging a hammock, we bought a singlenest hammock & straps for the kids. Now my 8 yr old can hang the hammock up on her own. We take our hammocks everywhere, the slap straps guarantee we always have a way to hang them.

My best accessory! No more time wasted figuring which knots to use. Have a set for each hammock. Grandkids, 4, 5 & 9 can set-up their own hammocks effortlessly within minutes and clip on their sneakers or backpack within reach (using caribiners). I love this product!

Got this for our backcountry hammock setup. Was lighter than expected and super easy to pack. Setup was a breeze the first time, even quicker the 2nd and 3rd. Held up a 2-person hammock easily with 2 people in it, although it did compact the bark a bit and create sappage. Other than that it was perfect! This is definitely going in our bag in the future!

Wondered if these would be worth the price. I really like them! Super easy to set up. Since I am not a "knot head" this is just for me. They do stretch some but not enough to really care- they have so many attachment points this does not matter.
