Little pricey but will last you a life time. Great holding power for low weight, and have used titanium hook stakes for over 3,000 miles of backpacking on an A.T Thru-hike, hiking the Wicklow Way over the Dublin, Ireland mountains, Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada, as well as numerous other New England camping trips. Easy to put in the ground, and yet another purchase that will help your hiking trip feel more like a walk in the woods, and less like a porter hauling a load up Everest !

Used with new big Agnes Fly Creek 1 tent in Salt Creek Canyon/Canyonlands Ntl Park Utah recent trip with stakes from manufacturer. Tent/fly held well in wind etc in unseasonable wind/snow storm in April 2010.

We use these stakes with a light weight backpacking tent. They are great! It is easy to push them into the ground because of their thin shape, but the titanium makes them strong and we have never bent one despite hard abuse on trips. These work better for us than the straight titanium stakes because the secure lines and loops much better. They are expensive, but I highly recommend the investment!
