    I quickly learned how to use this tool and have sewn several projects with it, including heavy duty full grain leather bags and pouches. This is the original design and it works perfect. I have yet to break a needle, but these and extra thread are readily available online. The waxed polyester thread is very strong. Perfect for any heavy duty sewing where a regular needle and thread will not suffice.

    This product works as advertised and is easy to use. I was doing exceptional work without having ever used a sewing awl before. This is the closest thing to an automatic sewing machine you can buy. Very happy with the price and the product.

    Tested when I got it and it works for everything I could use it for. Decent price and it was even better then I was guessing. Only downside I found so far is getting spools or more "thread" for it. Still looking for a decent source.
