I used this to patch a hole in my rain jacket. I think it worked. I haven't put it to a rigorous waterproofing test, but I haven't felt any leakage. The edges were starting to come off after a few months of daily wear. I used a patch that didn't come with the kit and I don't know how well I applied it. Not sure who's to blame. I put a piece of duct tape on top of the patch to hold down the edges and all is well.

Purchased this small kit to repair a small tear in an EMS rain jacket. Following the directions, I found this an easy repair and it has held, at least for a couple of wearings. It seems to be a good repair.

I sat a little too close to a camp fire and an ember landed on my down jacket. I purchased this patch kit to repair the small burn hole in the jacket. I was able to cut a small circle out of the patch material provided. I kept the excess for future accidents.
