Comments about PETZL Am'D Triact-Lock Carabiner:
Excellent product. I feel very safe using it. The only con is that it is a little tricky to get used to the motion required to unlock the carabiner, but I would rather it be somewhat harder to open than too easy.

Comments about PETZL Am'D Triact-Lock Carabiner:
This product ROCKS as a secure carabiner! I bought it to use felling trees, since I have spread lesser 'biners (always at inopportune times). It takes a bit of a learning curve to open it one-handed, and is large enough that those with small hands might always have to use two hands. The finish has endured some punishment and still looks great, and the 'biner itself shows no signs of giving out.

Comments about PETZL Am'D Triact-Lock Carabiner:
I bought some of these to replace my main lockers that I use for leading anchors and top roping anchors. Worth the extra money compared to screw lockers. You don't have to worry about your biners unscrewing and becoming unlocked or forgetting to lock them when you are moving fast. They seem more robust compared to the ball lock version (green ball).

Comments about PETZL Am'D Triact-Lock Carabiner:
I bought this product mostly to be used at the end of a dasiy chain. I wanted a very strong yet secure auto locking device when securing to an anchor. It has many other uses, but that is what I purchased it for.
