This is a great lil light! I use it every time I'm out in the field, which is a lot, for night ops. As a combat medic, I use this light to help treat patients. However I mostly use the light to help pass the time reading a book while sitting in the ambulance (FLA). Pretty much everyone in my unit(1/503 173) has one of their own!!!

I use it in attics without lighting. The adjustable tilt, strobe function, and boost mode are great. Intelligent switching between functions. The quick color change by sliding the lens into place, rather than complicating things by having multiple LEDs is ingenious.
Only con is I wish the attachment on the strap that holds the spare lens held all of the extra lenses (3 spares plus 1 on the light itself), not just one.

This lamp is good and the battery lasts forever, It is just not bright enough for me. I find i am constantly holding the bright button insted of just useing it on the reguler setting. Im currently looking for a better one.

An ideal light for backyard astronomer. Red filter preserves night vision during set up or equip adjustment, reading star charts, etc.
An improvement would be to allow the beam to be tilted down more in front of the user.
