The Myo Rxp is the first Petzl® headlamp that is regulated and programmable, allowing the user to choose the order of lighting levels and to precisely adapt light output.Features/Benefits:

For the money this is more than enough to get you down a trail at night or flip the lens and flood plenty of light for walking around camping or in a tent. I was surprised that the batteries sent with it weren't powerful enough to let it go into "boost" mode, so I'll be using only regulated rechargeables to maintain full power. Overall, wonderful light from what I've seen so far.

I previously used a Tikka XP and upgraded to the MYO RXP. The amount of light that it outputs is incredibly high and has a good combination of battery life. On a power setting of level 5 out of 10, it seemed as if the headlamp was as bright as my tikka xp.
Have used it on multiple night time trail runs and hikes. Harder to fit under a cap b/c of the battery pack on the back but I do prefer the rxp for any activity that requires a lot of movement. With the battery pack on the back of the head, the headlamp sits very balanced on your head which makes it good for running. very stable. Top head strap also helps when running in the summer and your head becomes sweaty.

The lamp is wonderful. I used it on a 100 mile race and when it worked, it was worth its weight in gold. However, before it got dark, I had the lamp wrapped around my wrist in a thunderstorm and it did not function correctly for a couple of hours. I think this is because the lamp was upside down on my wrist. I put the lamp on my head and after a couple of hours (in the continuing thunderstorm) the lamp started working again.
