We have purchased two of these wonderfully crafted instruments. They are a pleassure to hold and open. The knife blade is quickly accessible, and the wine cork screw works well in the field. The pliers are particularly functional. The finish is rugged and distinctive and I have found that it cleans up well even after getting lost in a jar of peanut butter.

On my last trip, I forgot to leave my leatherman CS4 at home, and one of the guys working for TSA was lucky enough to get it. It has been 4 days, and I have counted more than 8 times that I went to grab it from my pocket and was dismayed to remember that it wasn't there. I'm on my way back to EMS right now to get another, this tool has become an indispensable part of life. It is the perfact size and weight to have in your pocket every day, whether jeans, or even in a suit. It has exactly the right everyday tool selection, and you are rarely left looking for something else. The blade does dull quickly, but as anyone knows that also means it sharpens just as easily, so a couple swipes with a stone and you;re rockin' again. The flathead screwdrivers are a trick to get out, but I'd rather that than have them swing out too easily (and thus fold up when you are trying to use them) Bottom line, I love it.

I carry this everywhere and I use it all the time. It can be wimpy for a big job, but it's so compact and easy to carry that I do, and just that--actually having it when necessity strikes--is what makes it so useful.

I bought this because I wanted a small knife with pliers and most multi-tools are large and bulky...don't buy it.
What is wrong with it?
The screwdriver bits are hard to get out.
The screwdriver bits bend.
It is made from weak or soft metal.
The knife does NOT hold an edge.
The scissors are terrible.
The handles are very uncomfortable, and pinch.
I have really tried to think of some positive things to say about this product, and I can't find any other than the size of it. Even the size is funny, too big and heavy for most pockets, and not really big enough to put on a belt.
Buy a Swiss Amy Knife and or a larger multi-tool if you don't mind the weight.
