Comments about NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In:
I bought the tx wash after using Rivex spray on my goretex for years. The Nikwax TX is soo much easier to use, and quite frankly seems to have revived the fabric of my 7 year old Mountain Hardware jacket. The Jacket now feels like it's brand new, fabric is soft and repells water like it did fresh out of the store. Time will tell how long the Nikwax treatment lasts, but my initial impression is that this works so much better than Rivex.

Comments about NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In:
it worked great some far...2 months. I skied in wet snow yesterday and stayed dry in my jacket.. unlike last year when I noticed my jacket had lost it waterproof..ez to use but cost twice as much as the spray on stuff but it is better for the enviroment. doesn't cause cancer so I'll pay the price.

Comments about NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In:
I buy this product every 3 years to refresh the Gore-Tex in my EMS jacket. It seems to bond to the fibers and buffs up the water repellency of my jacket. Highly recommend.

Comments about NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In:
Used the product to make a GoreTex jacket water resistant again. This saved us hundreds of dollars.
The directions are a little bit unclear on when the wash version should be used versus the direct application formula. We used the wash version which may have made the inside liner water resistant (and therefore may cause sweating in warmer weather) but works great for water repellancy in cold weather.

Comments about NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In:
Water beads up well on my Kokatat Tropos drytop again. Did not work as well on Tropos drysuit.
I checked with nikwax and Kokatat to ensure it was compatible. I used techwash first as recommended. I bought the drysuit used so I'm not sure if it needs more cleaning more treatments or what.
