Comments about ADVENTURE MEDICAL KITS Ultralight 0.5 Solo First-Aid Kit:

I used the product as a backpack first aid kit on a few trips and was disgusted with it. The bandages and supplies are terrible. I recommend using one of Adventure Medical Kits (EMS sells them too) many different and AMAZING kits.

Comments about ADVENTURE MEDICAL KITS Ultralight 0.5 Solo First-Aid Kit:

I have this kit in my emergency preparedness go-bag. I also use it as my family day hike first aid kit. Whether it is a day hike in the Whites of NH, an overnighter in the AMC High Huts, the slot canyons of Zion in Utah, the rain-forest of Olympia National Park in the Pacific Northwest or hiking in the foothills of Mount Rainier. IT WEIGHS ALMOST NOTHING. YET, IT HAS THE ESSENTIALS, AS WELL AS, ROOM FOR EXPANSION AND CUSTOMIZATION. IT'S WATER PROOF. IT MAKES AN EXCELLENT BASE KIT. There is five of us and I almost never need it, but I am always glad I have it along for that rare occasion. It brings the whole family comfort knowing we have it with us for when the need arises.

I have added a couple of extra large bandages, band-aids, alcohol rubs, triple antibiotic and pain reliever meds. These add maybe one ounce to the kit, but makes it family practical or lengthens the useful duration of your adventure. I also bring along an ace bandage, though it doesn't fit in the first aid kit, it could be a real life saver in case someone sprains an ankle or worse!

You can't go wrong for the money!
