I've been camping in wet, humid areas and in the mountains for the past 4 weeks and have used this stuff as my sole bug repellant. I was just as bug free if not more so than my DEET using travelling companions. I smelled better, and wasn't exposing myself to unnecessary chemicals. It lasts for at least 6hrs, probably more. The only problem is that the bottles leak. I had to keep mine in 2 ziploc bags to make sure it didn't get all over my other things.

My son and I used it the last 2 weeks on the AT and BS camp with alost no complaints. It went on well without any sticky residue and smelled nice. It may not have lasted the entire 8 hours it claims but we could overlook that aspect. I like not having the DEET in the formula and prefer natural products when they work well. I will be buying this product again

Definitely stopped mosquitoes from landing for a while, and found it particularly helpful if I sprayed a bunch on on my outer laying of clothing, hat, and if applicable, buff/scarf for hikes. Didn't really have an odor and was comfortable with rather liberal use because it was a more natural product.
Was less effective with heavy mosquito time (dusk/dawn) in the Tetons, but I think to expect that it would ward off mosquitoes like that would be rather unrealistic. At some point, the spray top didn't work very well, but could have been an issue in luggage or from overuse?

We bought this for our 1 yr old daughter to keep mosquitoes off and it worked great! I was happy with the smell too. Some of the natural products don't smell very good.
