Comments about BLACK DIAMOND FreeWire Quickdraw:
for the price this is the best quickdraw i have used. Light, large gate opening, and the 2 different color biners make it easy to orient. The rubber biner insert that keeps the rope end biner from turning works well, but it is hard if you like to switch to a locking biner from time to time.

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND FreeWire Quickdraw:
I normally climb indoors, but this product serves me well for the occasional outdoor climb. For the price the quality is pretty good, but the gates may seem a little stiff until you get used to them. The rubber in the dogbone is nice to keep the carabiner in place while clipping.

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND FreeWire Quickdraw:
I use this quickdraw when I am re-rocking the wall where I climb a lot, or when I'm tired and want to rest on the wall (ie: on overhang stuff) without swinging off or anything for long periods. So, since it is used mostly for that and on occasion for outdoor stuff just to make sure I don't fall while setting up an anchor, it fits my needs perfectly. I haven't ever done trad climbing, so I have no idea if these would be good for that...

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND FreeWire Quickdraw:
I did a stinking lot of research and asked all the climbers I could what to buy. I am very pleased with my purchase. They were an excellent bargain. If I had unlimited resources, I may have gone with something else, but this is a great item for a great deal!! highly recommended!

Comments about BLACK DIAMOND FreeWire Quickdraw:
I upgraded from standard gate draws (also Black Diamond) and the difference in weight and encumbrance is very noticeable. My other draws are still functional, but I always reach for these new lighter ones.
