These are great poles! Started using them in Hawaii on some day hikes then took them out on the Kalalau trail and they performed very well. Can seem a bit too flexible when extended to 135cm and beyond. I use them at 135cm and there's a little give but not enough to lose confidence in them. Great purchase and wish I had discovered these earlier!

I bought a pair of these poles with my new snowshoes, and as soon as these was enough snow on the ground I gave them a workout. The difference between shoeing without poles - which I'd always done - and with poles is like night and day. It's SO much easier, yet you also get a great workout using your arms as well. It took a bit of experimentation to get the length and wrist strap adjusted properly (I had to figure it out on my own while on the trail) and I knew when I had it right because it just FELT right. These will be coming with me on every hike from now on, regardless of the weather or season. I even got my most frequent hiking partner a pair.

I bought these to replace a pair of Leki push button poles, which served me well for more than a decade. On my second outing with the Black Diamonds, I slipped on a downhill and when I planted the pole to catch myself, the bottom section bent. I was able to straighten it somewhat when I got home, so it's usable, but I fear these poles are too flimsy for the hard hiking I do.

Never used hiking poles but as I'm getting older I needed to take stress off my knees and back.These are perfect and hold my weight well as I'm 228 and 6'2''.So far ,so good.

Just bought these last night,went for a hike today was lots of ice on steep steep trail kept me from falling alot.Made ascending the mountain a breeze,easy to adjust and very strong hold up to me being 6ft and 280 very happy with product will be buying wife a set.

I just bought these for my parents and they're working great! They are light, easy to use, and can be adjusted for a wide range of heights. They occasionally feel just a bit flimsy, so we'll have to see how they last.

These poles are phenomenal and I can hardly wait to use them on the trails. Snowshoeing with these may be a great sport for me to get into.
