This rope has reduced rope drag due to the dia. it does not frey easily and its very strong. do not use for toprope or projects, its not ment for that. hiking with this rope is a joy. since its a double dry treatment you can use it for ice and alpine climbing. if you are looking for a light rope for the pros listed above. i recommend this one hands down. it will not disappoint you i promise.
