Confused about what I bought here. The tech specs on the EMS website don't match the Sterling website. EMS 2,315 lbs vs Sterling 2,788 lbs. Why would these be different?

Made a Purcell Prusik out of 11 feet of it. It knots nicely and is supple enough for the prusik hitch to bite well.
