Tank you EMS for having what I needed. I can't wait until I get to use them in Curacao.

Comments about Northwest River Supplies NRS HydroSkin Socks:
My boys (6 and 8 years old) and I were heading out for our first kayaking adventure of the season. It was still a little on the chilly side - 64 degrees air temp and 61 degrees water temp. Rain was in the forecast, too. It did rain lightly from about 12:30 to 1:30 and dropped the air temp down to 61.
So before we went out, I stopped at EMS. I wanted something to keep the boys' feet dry and warm, but I didn't want to buy something like a fitted-shoe that they would outgrow in one season. I found these NRS hydroskin socks were perfect. I hope they will last more than one season (depending on how fast the boys grow), but they were perfect for kayaking yesterday and kept the boys' feet dry and warm.
My only complaint was I thought they were overpriced, but I didn't see any other options, and I didn't want whining miserable kids out on the water.

Comments about Northwest River Supplies NRS HydroSkin Socks:
I wear these socks over my normal socks when I go out fishing and kayaking under my wadders. They impressed me to say the least. I used them for a little over 10hrs getting in and out of the water and my socks NEVER even got wet!!! At first I was a little ify about them and was not sure. To say the least I would by more of them and any product made by NRS!

Comments about Northwest River Supplies NRS HydroSkin Socks:
I wear these with sandals while kayaking. They are fantastic for keeping feet comfortable when you are getting in and out of the kayak. The tops are snug around the leg so you don't get any stones or grit into the socks and your feet are much more comfortable when walking thru shallow spots beside the kayak. I can't attest to the warmth because I have not been in bitter cold water but in 50 degree water my feet were completely warm in these. I am not sure if they are waterproof because my feet were damp when I took them off but I expect that was perspiration. I'm very happy with these and will be getting another set for my wife since I was the guinea pig for this purchase !

Comments about Northwest River Supplies NRS HydroSkin Socks:
Used as baselayer under neoprene boots for both kayaking and rafting. Kept me warm even after full submersion. While rafting on the Gauley (WV) they eventually were soaked but kept us warm.

Kept my feet warm in chilly water. Worked with my water tevas. Ran a bit large, had to exchange for smaller size.

I purchased a medium based on the women's size chart and found it too large. Ladies - go small!
