I use it when I go rafting, tubing, or skiing. It's great (if you get the yellow) in that it stands out against almost all backgrounds incase it gets dropped. It's very strong, lightweight, and water-proof. The only problem I had was the attached string broke off easily (in water), but that's easily fixed.

I use the otter box both kayaking and in my duck hunting boat. Nothing has gotten wet or damaged while stored in the box. I added some egg-crate foam for added protection.

The box was a birthday gift for my wife to keep camera etc. while kayaking dry. It a little hard for her to close but that may be a good thing as the seal is good. Won't really know until we use it in March.

I liked my first Otter box so much I got a second one. I use it for all my "can't get wet" gear when kayak camping. Ipod, phone, keys, wallet. I use a second one for all my safety gear when I'm on the ocean. Small air horn, emergancy light, signal mirror, etc.
