I use the covers on three yaks for storage. Some covers provide a adjustable strap to go around the yak to hold the cover in place better. The best use is to adjust the tension of the bungee to allow a tighter fit for the cover. I also like to angle the yak to allow water/leaves to drain/fall off of the cover.
No worries about spiders,worms and unwelcome guests when you take the cover of!

For years I've been docking a kayak for a friend and every spring I get out the vacuum and clean out the webs and critters that I can't evacuate. The boat is being recalled by my friend so I scored me two boats for less than the price of one new boat. This cockpit cover fits great and will get me on the water quicker by eliminating the seasonal interior cleaning.

Haven't used it yet, but will be using it every day on a 45 day sailing trip in the rugged offshore waters of the BC Coast this summer. I needed a cover that will securely cover my kayak cockpit. This is the best one. I especially like the strap going around the boat's hull.

I always cover my kayak, i feel it is a big investment so i want to keep the inside as safe as possible especially when transporting it i dont want the seat flapping, the cover fits snug so you can load up the cockpit with your gear and then cover it and you have more room in your vehicle.

We bought these covers for two new kayaks and have used them ( so far) when hauling the kayaks on top of our cars. They reduce drag and definately keep the seats dry and clean. They are a perfect fit and install pretty easily once you have a technique down. We'll use them for storage too once the season is over.
