All you really need to know is carry multiple maps and never buy maps that aren't waterproof.
No one map has every trail intersection perfect, that's just life. So you should always have 2 maps and one pocket book describing the hike.
It's safe to be redundant with maps, and the weight is negligible.
In regards to this map in particular, just sitting at the kitchen table I noticed 2 trouble spots on my other maps where this map shows it clearly. I was sold from there.
