Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
I hiked in the san juans in colorado in these shoes, and found them much too stiff and clunky on rocky trails. They made my feet stupid and I was clumsy in them. I prefer a more flexible shoe that lets me know there is a trail under my feet, so I returned them. They might be more useful for mountaineering in snowy conditions where you need to kick step up a mountain.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
I use these boots every day when I work outdoors at a local nursery. They are comfortable to wear all day long, stay dry in wet conditions, and keep my feet stable. They feel as light as a lower shoe, There is enough padding and give at the top of the boot to make them very comfortable at the ankles. I have not owned them long enough to describe whether or not they will wear well, but so far they seem to be holding up very well!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
Love to go walkabout in sub-zero temperatures, no matter how snowy and icy. These boots keep me warm, dry and traction is secure. They are tough enough to endure rough housing, such as kicking rocks.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
Bought these boots for a hiking trip to Yellowstone after my old hiking boots caused issues right before the trip. I wore them a few times before the trip for 3-4 mile hikes and found them to be super comfortable with no break-in required. After hiking all day for several days in a row in Yellowstone, my feet and knees felt great. I've even been wearing them on the weekends around the yard and neighborhood. I would highly recommend them.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
This boot was comfortable from the moment I put it on. Rugged yet lightweight. My feet stay put going up and down hill. The tongue is also comfortable and stays in place. In other boots, I find that this part can dig in a bit on longer hikes. Also the toe box is roomy. I have not tried this on rocky wet steep trails yet. Living in VT, I am sure I will have that opportunity. I have not put in enough miles yet to tell how durable. Good value for the boot style.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
After being cooped up on a ship for 6 weeks with no exercise, I took a 15 mile hike and wore these boots for the first time. I thought we were on a 5 mile hike, so was very nervous that I would have problems with these boots. I also have a poor arch on one foot and a bad knee. I did the entire 15 miles (a new record for me) with no problems with my feet or knee! I would recommend these very highly to anyone.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
These feel great! After a session with the foot guru, it took me a lot of time to find a comfortable boot. I wanted a sturdy hiking boot, my legs are strong but my back is not. This fit the bill.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports OBOZ Women's Yellowstone BDRY Hiking Shoes:
I found these boots much too stiff. I wore them on a very rocky trail and they made me clumsy as I had no feel for the trail at all. They made my feet stupid and my knees ached after the hike when they usually don't. I have another pair of OBOZ shoes and they are fantastic so I was expecting a more flexible shoe with a better feel for the trail. I had to return these as I would never hike in them again.
