Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
I have absolutely terrible, hard-to-fit feet and these sandals fit beautifully right out of the box. Great arch support, adjustable straps at ankle and in toe area allowed me to tailor the fit to my bunion; they have a deep heel cup which allows me to walk without putting pressure on my toes; and the foot bed is a very soft rubber so you feel like you're walking on pads. Very light for travel and the blue color is actually more of a periwinkle. Will wear this mostly around town but also at the beach. Would get another pair but they're out of my size in all colors.

I've only used them in limited circumstances so far, but am taking them on a trip west - they'll be perfect for almost any surface. Great shoe. No cons that I can think of at all.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
Researched sandals for my problem, hard-to-fit feet (bunions) for a long time. Bought these based on the reviews and reasonable price (on sale). They fit very well, with an excellent supportive footbed. They are rugged and seem like they will hold up to a lot of wear. However, I developed a contact allergy from the rubbing of the nylon and stitching on the straps. I was disappointed to have to return them. Unfortunately I will have to invest in higher-end all-leather brands.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
I wore these on an all-day class IV rapids raft trip in Ecuador. We had to hike DOWN a very long, steep mountain to get to the river, almost an hour in drizzle through thick slimy mud. The sandals were brand new and for the first 2 minutes I was determined to keep them clean... but quickly gave up that idea. I rode the front of the raft for hours with feet in the water, hitting rocks. When I got back to the hotel the sandals cleaned up beautifully. They have traveled to 4 other countries as well for close to 3 months total and still look new. My feet are extremely wide (especially for their short length); I ordered 1/2 size down and they are plenty long enough and remarkably even comfortably wide enough. Only complaint is the placement of velcro on the ankle strap; the velcro barely overlaps and the remaining uncovered velcro catches on things. It's as if Teva was expecting the average ankle to be a good 2" less around. Doesn't make sense. Comfortable from the start with no break-in period, even in day-long hiking.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
These are really comfortable shoes that do not look like the usual sport/water sandals. They are super light and comfy, but are cute and stylish enough that you can wear them around town or take them traveling and wear them out to dinner and not look geeky. The straps are all adjustable so you can fine-tune the fit and the ankle strap is plenty long enough to have it tighter or looser depending on how secure you need it to be.
The Tirra's are particularly good for my feet as I have bone spurs and most sandals have straps that are positioned in a way as to cut into them. With the multiple straps up front on these shoes, nothing digs in or rubs. I plan to buy another pair.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
I normally wear a 10 to 10 1/2 in closed toe shoes and purchased these in a 9 1/2. This is not to say the size does not run true - it is just that these are sandals and therefore tightness in the toes does not present the same issue. I have long feet with a medium to almost wide forefoot, and a narrow mid-foot with an extremely narrow heel and skinny ankle. That makes it hard to find any shoe that fits. The 9 1/2 was just long enough - a 10 would have been a bit better in legnth, but I couldn't snug the 10s enough around my ankles. This is a problem for me in any sandal so it is not a knock on these. That given, the 9 1/2 has proved to be a reaonsable compromise. They are very comfortable and I can walk all day in these sandals. Although they are sporty, I plan to wear them for teaching - they still look fine with casual skirts; comfortable feet are a must when I have to stand for long periods. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
I brought two pairs of shoes on a cross country motorcycle trip--my boots and these sandals. They've worked great! Comfortable enough to hike in, sturdy enough to swim in, and stylish enough to wear around town.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
The end of the Velcro separated from the underside of the top ankle strap immediately, repaired with a dot of superglue. But love the sandals. I wear an 8.5 or 9 and needed these in 9.

Comments about TEVA Women's Tirra Sandals:
My elderly mother needed sandals to wear when she goes kayaking, so her feet aren't bothered by the lake bottom. She also has gout problems. I love my Tevas, so I bought these for her. She loves them.
