Comments about PETZL Tikkina Headlamp:
My Father has Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma. Even with glasses he just could not get enough light on the newspaper to read it or on his checkbook to pay his bills.
I thought of giving caving / rescue headlamps a try and he is ecstatically happy with the result. We will be ordering several more. You should add Senior Citizens reading assistive device to your marketing strategy.

Comments about PETZL Tikkina Headlamp:
I use this lamp when I go backpacking and it works just fine. But more importantly: I recently washed my clothes at a laundromat in an industrial washer which uses a spin cycle and 120 gallons of water, and (oops...) I guess this lamp was caught in some piece of clothing and went for a swim. When I took it out, I anticipated having to buy a new one, but it WORKED PERFECTLY, and was even still bright! That was over a week ago and I haven't gone camping yet, but it still works fine. I would never expect that degree of waterproofness from a headlamp. This thing is clearly indestructible and leakproof, and has a super bright beam that has yet to fade in the six months I've been using (and washing) it.

Comments about PETZL Tikkina Headlamp:
I plan to wear this backpacking this winter, but have yet to do so. I have used this multiple times while running in the dark, both in good and bad weather. The Headlamp holds up great in sleet/snow/rain mixes. The headbeam is adjustable and fits to any head size. I understand that this is not the brightest headlamp in the market, but it is certainly bright enough for general camping/backpacking at night.
I have aldo dropped this quite a few times (taking my winter hat off without realizing the headlamp is still on) and it still works great. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Comments about PETZL Tikkina Headlamp:
I needed a headlamp for the GORUCK Challenge and this worked great. It stood up against being dropped several times. It did come apart one of the times but worked fine after snapping it together. The beam seemed a bit dim at home but was perfect outside. While the packaging does not say waterproof during the challenge it did get submerged in water and covered in sand. I was anxious to see if it still worked then and I am glad to say it works just fine.

Comments about PETZL Tikkina Headlamp:
I feed an outdoor feral cat and bring in leftover food after dark each day. The headlamp is handy because I have both hands free to carry things. I appreciate all the positive reviews from others because it helped me choose the right headlamp for me. I had no previous experience with headlamps.

For the price, this headlamp is great. Bulb brightness is fine for the most part, but it doesn't have a lot of distance. It is exactly what I expected.
