Great case for my Petzl Tikka 2 headlamp. It's a structured, but not hard, case with a very close fit, but it works and protects my headlamp. Only con is the mesh sleeve inside, designed to hold extra batteries, is tiny, so it's hard to get the batteries in and out of it.

The item does what it does, which is to protect headlamps. I wanted my lens from getting beat up due to other loose items in my backpack.
I wish Petzl would make a felt pouch that came standard with headlamps.

I use this for a different headlamp then intended and it works great! I feel much better scrambling around knowing my headlamp is tucked safe inside this awesome pouch. I liked it so much, I even bought one for my boyfriend. :)

the exterior is rubberized, there is a belt loop and grommet for carrying inside or outside pack. if you buy a mid to higher priced lamp i consider this a necessity. battery life is fantastic, high beam bright for 60 yards. great lamp!!
