    I'm an avid hiker, mostly summer/fall and needed a very lightweight tent - at 2 pounds, 2 ounces, this is amazingly light. I just had a test to test it during the worst thunderstorm/rainstorm you can imagine on an overnight hiking trip. Not only was the tent easy to set up, it stayed TOTALLY DRY inside despite the driving storm. I shared my tent with a friend who was so impressed, she's buying one. THe company is great - I ripped the bag on the first day and they are replacing it for free. Big Agnes is a great company and they back their products. I don't think you can find a simpler tend that weights this little that works this well!
