Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Nyssa Daypack:
This bag is actually a lot larger than it looks. It can carry 36 liters of stuff, which puts it on the large end of the daypack/school bag spectrum.
It is really well padded. The shoulder straps are comfortable and nicely padded, and the back of the bag is also well padded and even has some spaces in it to help air flow. There's even a separate, nicely padded compartment for a laptop. I think this would easily fit a 15" laptop, and maybe a 17".
I like the multiple pockets in the front for easy organization, and the pretty flower design.
My main problem is that because of the zippered side pockets (probably for a water bottle, etc., though you could use it for other stuff), the bag doesn't open all the way. I much prefer just a simple open sleeve to shove my water bottle in. The zipper is just annoying. And because of their placement, the bag only opens about half way, making it difficult to see what's at the bottom.
If the bag had opened wider, it would have gotten 5 stars.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Nyssa Daypack:
I use this pack for office commuting and it has been perfect so far. It fits my 15" laptop, 10" tablet, lunch and file folders with no problem. The thing I enjoy the most is the equal distribution of weight it delivers. The adjustable straps make carrying heavy loads bearable. My last backpack gave me backaches and did not have sufficient padding. I've received many compliments on it thus far and I really like the embroidered design of the Nyssa tree. It holds quite alot without being too bulky. The laptop section is well padded. I like the smaller inside pocket in the middle section that I store my tablet in. It keeps it separate from the rest of my things. I would buy again.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Nyssa Daypack:
I use the backpack mostly for commuting. I love the feminine detail and all the pockets - there are no shortage. Bag can hold a lot. I would imagine if the bag was filled to capacity it would be too heavy to wear comfortably. The only thing that doesn't impress me are the zippered water bottle pockets. I carry a liter bottle which falls out easily. I much prefer the cinch pockets on my retired EMS backpack.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Nyssa Daypack:
I bought this pack for my freshman year of college, and it has worked wonderfully so far! The padded laptop pocket is safe for my laptop, yet not obstrusive when I'm not carrying a computer. The top and front small pockets are also very convenient for go-to items like a cell phone and wallet. I'll be hiking with this pack soon, and I can't wait to see how it does.

I took the blue color. The color is darker than the pic, and it's perfect to me.
I am using for school and it fits for my laptop and books. And good size for 1-2 day trip.
My back feels comfortable.
