Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
I bought this as a gift for myself to have for future camping trips. It is pretty roomy and I fit two people in it very comfortably with room to spare. The only problem I saw was that in the morning the corners had small puddles in them from dew or condensation or something, so if you bring paper towels with you, stuff them in the corners and that should keep you dry

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
This tent was perfect for canoe camping in the BWCAW these past ten days. It's roomy, sets up quickly, stays dry in steady rain and can be guyed out to weather strong wind. I especially appreciated the luminescent zipper pulls, and gear loft. The larger of the two vestibules, when open, still protected the entrance in light rain and allowed for good ventilation. You can reduce the weight listed in the EMS specs by using aluminum stakes instead of the steel ones that come with the tent. Overall the tent is a very good value.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
I was fairly disappointed in the fly design. No matter what I did, I could not get the fly taught. I even added some of my own p-cord to other loops but that didn't help. Collects condensation and doesn't seem sturdy.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
I needed to replace a very old tent. This tent was easy to install (although there were only 4 guide lines and it wasn't clear where to attach them. The entrance on each side works well. The fly offers the protection of a dry area over each entrance -- this worked well. There is also enough room in the tent bags to rapidly stuff the tent if you need to pack quickly. The only issue I saw was the tent stakes, they are poor quality. Plan to replace them immediately with aluminum stakes and you will be happy.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
I bought this tent for a 2-night backpacking adventure in the Adirondacks with a buddy. I was going back and forth between this tent and the Sugar Shack 2. I didn't really see any different between them, beside the price and a bit of weight. This tent weighs a bit more than the Sugar Shack, but if you replace the provided 12 solid steel stakes with MSR aluminum stakes ($20+/-), it ends up weighing the same! At the current sale price, I don't see how this tent can be beat. One quibble is that the rain fly does not come all the way down, which, during heavy rain could allow part of the tent walls to get wet. Fortunately, we had perfect weather and did not get a chance to see if this is a major problem or not. I look forward to using this tent again.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
This is my first tent and I loved it so much I wanted to write a review. Every detail has been thought of. The tips of the zippers are glow in the dark which is really helpful. In the store the workers set it up in less than 90sec and none of them had set up that model before. The tent is a pretty big two person which makes it very comfortable. The dual vestibules are great. This tent is the best.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Big Easy 2 Tent:
I used this for the first time last weekend, 5 nights of camping in the West Virginia mountains. Setup was a breeze, even in the rain. Although it rained 4 out of the 5 days, the Big Easy 2 never let a drop of rain in, I didn't see any evidence of condensation either. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this tent!
