Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
This is my third pair of Keen Targhee II hiking shoes and still a winner. They fit well, though I buy 1/2 size larger than my shoe size. They have great arch support which I need because of a high arch. They are durable, water-resistant and comfortable from the get-go. And not too heavy either. Highly recommend!

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
These boots are fabulous! No breaking in needed. I wore them the day after buying them on a 7 mike hike with tons of snow still on the ground and a lot of melting snowing making the trail more like a stream. Everyone in my group had soaked feet, but me! Super comfy, great traction and my feet feel great even after what I put them through today. I would buy these boots a million times over.

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
My second pair of these boots. They are very comfortable, no pain after hiking three full days up at Mt. Baker, WA. No slippage on wet rocks and creek crossings. Next pair will be the higher tops for more ankle support. I am very pleased with the product, price and service.

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
Just purchased so I have only wore them a couple times but, as other peoples reviews had said, didn't need any break-in time. They are very comfortable and am very happy with them so far. Love the traction and non-slip and I do recommend!

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
Use these for everyday wear; working outside, year-round; climbing over granite ledges, rocks, & seaweed, & into low tide muck - looking for sea glass & fossils. Would have been great in the High Arctic.

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
This is my third pair, they have high arches and fit great right out of the box. I no longer have to wear my uncomfortable orthodics because these Keens have all the support I need. I have the mid boots and high boots in the same style and they have been a lifesaver for me. They don't wear out quickly-quite the contrary. My first pair from many years ago is finally starting to go, I still use them for dirty jobs at work & home-the support is still there. I wear Keens every single day, I dog train and clean kennels-they take a beating. If you order a half size up, they fit perfectly.

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
The high arches feel great. They are very warm in the winter but in the summer your feet will sweat too much. I bought them for winter hiking and ended up using them at work. I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day on a concrete floor. They were water proof for about three months until the stitching in the toe came undone. I will probably buy another pair but it's disapointing when you spend over $100 on a pair of shoes and they fall appart so quickly. I noticed some other reviews that said "my 10th pair I love them" If they would last you wouldn't need a 10th pair. In the 90's I wore Dr Martens everyday for about 10 years and only had 2-3 pairs. Still I like the keens and will buy them again

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
Going to Nepal for a trek, and needed hiking shoes (which I prefer to boots). I ordered another well known brand of hiking shoes from a different site, and knew the moment I put them on they were too stiff and wouldn't work. After reading the EMS reviews, I decided to try to Keen Turghee II hiking shoes. Simply love them! I hike daily in UT, and these shoes were comfortable from the get-go with great foot and toe support. No break in time required nor blisters. I know these hiking shoes will be my best friends in Nepal in a couple of weeks! Definitely order 1/2 size up. I am a true 8 and the 8 1/2 was the size that fit.

Comments about KEEN Women's Targhee II Hiking Shoes, Slate Black:
I had a hard time getting the right size. I like to wear thick wool socks. One half size up seemed too big with my thick socks, but the size I got is slightly too tight with the thick socks. Other than that I have no complaints, love the durability and ruggedness. Also a very comfortable shoe.
