I bought these for my seven-year old. They have a lace through the heel by which the heel can be tightened significantly, extending the size range. My son loved them immediately; he says they're more comfortable and hold better than the shoes we'd been renting. They also open wide and are very easy for him to get on and off by himself.

Bought these in smallest size for my 3 year old - at size 26/27 they should be larger than what she currently wears (25) but like adult climbing shoes they are made to be VERY tight - which a kid is less likely to tolerate. i was suprised that as kid shoes these weren't a little more true to size - i'm sending them back for a size or two larger. they do look extremely well made and rigid, although I'm worried that for kids that might not be the best thing. these are truely just small versions of the adult shoes, very good quality.
