The METOLIUS Simulator Training Boards are awesome training devices! They work! By using one for the first time last season I made tremendous gains in strength and confidence in climbing. You can also exercise your abs w/o straining your back as in doing sit-ups or leg raises. You can do pull ups, hangs, etc. from both large and small grips, holds, pockets, sloping edges, one-handed or two, and from 1 finger to 10 These just rock! Buy one - you won't regret it! Quality construction, easy to mount as well!

I got this as a gift for my husband. He uses it to improve his grips and work on upper body strength. He really likes the training board but was surprised how small it is, you can only perform a "narrow" pull-up. (My husband is tall with a large arm span). Otherwise it is a good device and he gets a great work out from it.
