Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves:
I first used these on a horrible day for kayaking, paddling against the wind with the occasional wave coming over the kayak. My hands were the warmest, dryest part of my body. Paddling hard against the wind and tide (what were we thinking?)resulted in no blisters! I recommended these to my friend who I was kayaking with and she has since also bought a pair and loves them.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves:
I found the size and quality to be good but when I put the gloves on the sems on the finger were very
rough and would had caused blisters after a short amount of paddling.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves:
I paddle through the winter and have used quite a few gloves. I have found these to be the most comfortable and natural-feeling on the paddle, and the seal at the cuffs is very helpful for maintaining dryness. However, I only got one year's use out of them before they wore out in multiple places. I patched them up this way and that with aquaseal and inner tube patches, but as soon as I fixed one spot they would wear through in another. If there was a heavy-use version of this glove with the seams and contact surfaces reinforced and surfaced with harder-wearing material it would be worth it - I'll buy another pair, but one season's use is pretty flimsy.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves:
I use these for outrigger canoe paddling in the winter (35° air, 60° water). Hands are still cold in these at first, but then they warm up nicely. My only problem with them is that I have to change sides on the paddle, and the gloves are a bit too sticky to do that maneuver smoothly.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves:
They seemed to work well. They are totally waterproof, however, I haven't yet gotten a lot of use out of them. The seems inside the glove at the fingers cut into my skin a bit. I'll be wearing a liner glove with them next time to prevent this. I had to get xxl, normal I use a large or extra large glove.
