I live in the city and do a lot of walking and these shoes are great all those 2-6 mile hikes around town- especially winter in cold/snow/slush. I have worn this kind for many years and keep replacing them when they wearing down (soles). Watch for when they go on sale and have a spare pair ready to go.

While I'm sure these are great, affordable, lightweight hiking shoes for some, I have found myself with pretty severe back pain whenever I wear them for an extended period of time. Not saying don't buy them, just keep your receipt until you try them out for a while. Happy shopping!
