I purchased this to be able to get my wife's Thule roof rack to fit my car. She has a '11 Sonata, I have a '06 BMW. The removal of the old fit kit and the installation of the new one was a breeze.
Thule designed this kit very well. With the enclosed directions, it will be easy to change out the kits from one to the other, depending on which car needs the rack!

The rack system itself is very strong - got the aero bars as thought they would be quiet - they are not, am adding Thule faring - am told that will help. If so, probably shouldn't have bought aero bars as hard to match to Thule accessories being oval.
