I used this bag while traveling around Nepal and India during the monsoon season. The bag is very straightforward to use, and has a good design. The only thing is, it got a little torn up while I was taking flights, but so did my Kielty backpack which was inside, which is saying a lot. I doubt even a more durable bag could have stopped what the Delhi airport had in store for my luggage. If they made the converter more durable, it might make it significantly heavier. It's easy to put it on, convert it, and carry it around.

I'm currently three months into a year-long trip through Latin America. The pack converter has held up quite well as protection for my REI Mars 85 pack and other miscellaneous gear through plane and bus trips through six countries so far. I appreciate the large capacity, great waterproofing, and easy tuck-away shoulder strap. One small hole did pop up, but it was probably due to my careless loading and was easily patched with duct tape.
