This pillow was perfect for travel and daily use. I consider myself a pillow snob. I do not like to use other people's pillows. This pillow worked perfectly on the plane. I slept near the window and it fit perfectly between me and the window. It smushed down nicely so that I could stuff it in my bag between connecting flights. Upon arrival to my destination the pillow worked great for my bed pillow. I used it for 10 days with no problem. It fluffs up nicely. I washed it with soap and downy before I left, and it kept the nice smell for my entire trip. Yes, the sponge stuff on the inside is lumpy. Didn't matter because there is lots of it. It compressed down to a small size so that I could put it in my bag. Love it. I got the medium sized one. The price was pretty good. ~$20. I would buy it again.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was gifted one of these pillows for the holidays. I travel often by bus, have a bad back, and this pillow is perfect!! It compacts down to a suprisingly small size. It's not tiny but neither is the pillow. The pillow is a good size (I have the medium size one) when it's all rolled out and fluffed up. It fluffs up quickly and holds its shape, but is still easy to roll back up into a small easy to travel with size. It really is perfect for anyone that does alot of traveling, and I would absolutely recommend it, worth every penny
