Comments about Five Ten FIVE.TEN Men's Rogue Climbing Shoes:

I've only been climbing for a month but am very active in honing my craft as a noobie climber. that said, i wanted my first shoe to be affordable, which the Rouge certainly is. Second, the shoe offers a pretty true-to-size fit which makes the shoe comfortable right out of the box, granted you have someone helping you size your shoe. The Rouge also broke in fairly quickly.

The downside to this shoe is that the synthetic upper, though perforated, doesn't breath very well so you're feet tend to get sweaty quickly.

              Best Uses

              • Basic bouldering problems

Comments about Five Ten FIVE.TEN Men's Rogue Climbing Shoes:

These were my first rock climbing shoes ever and they worked well before i started progressing beyond V5 problems. that said, they're a great beginner shoe. super comfy (if fit correctly), the price can't be beat and for the most part the quality is pretty good. the break in period was just three or four days of climbing and they fit my foot type very well (low volume, non-mortons toe, standard width, small heel).

once you learn better technique the shoe will make the perfect trad shoe.

the things i didn't like about them:
              - poor breathabilty: even though they look breathable, they're not. there's something about synthetic material being a breeding ground for bacteria.
              - poor rubber quality: after a couple months of climbing indoor and out, the rubber began become stiff and started balding and lost all it's sticky properties.
