Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
I have used these ski pants during -5 below ski days to 40 degrees. Comfortable with a thin liner or as is. Similar to quality you would find in $300 ski pants.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
These pants are excellent. They are extremely warm, I have not been in a situation where my legs or feet have gotten cold while wearing these pants, including several ski trips with negative temperatures and high winds. In fact I have found myself a little too warm sometimes so I just open up the vents(which work great) and it cools me right down.
Sizing seems to be pretty close to what they specify on the sizing chart. I am a 34x32 pant size which is exactly what the medium is listed as and they fit great. They are a little tight when pulling up past my hips but once they are up they fit perfect. They may also be a little longer than a 32 inseam but it works well because odds are you will be wearing boots with these. Because of this, these are the only snow pants I have even owned that don't slip off of my boots and let snow in.
The only thing I wish they had was a way to fasten a snow skirt down to keep it from pulling up while moving around.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
These are great snow sport pants. Got them for skiing and they have been great, boot zipper and snap on the outer pants and velcro with snap on snow guard work great making for good fit and feel.
While these ski pants fit great I did need to get a suspender or they tended to want to ride a little low -I had expected this so no big deal.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
I really liked the texture and weight of the pants, they had a nice heavy lining. I am sure they would have been great for using skiing or riding. I ordered these online and had them shipped so I could try them on over my thermas. I'm 5'9" and ~180lbs and I am a 32 - 34. I purchased the medium and large to try on and only tried on the large. They were very snug in the upper thight and they had a drastic boot cut, I felt like I was wearing girl's pants. Even over my thermals, a large should have been loose. I returned them before I ever used them for sport. (I did end up buyin the Theorem Jacket, really like the solid color options it comes with).

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
I bought these primarily for snowshoeing and hiking in the snow. Waist is fine by me; they have velcro adjusters on both sides of the waist and belt loops if you need a belt too. (I will). Vents really are helpful/effective. Length is good for me. I typically wear 32x32 trousers and these are about perfect for me, perhaps a little roomie. I took a medium & a large to the dressing room to try on, tried the medium on first and didn't even bother checking the large. The mediums were more than roomie enough. I think they look pretty good on too; not too baggie or sloppy, just right. Both the inner gaiters and the pants themselves have zips and snaps at the bottom to allow access to your boots. Some of the less expensive pants didn't offer that. Price is a little steep, but the quality & features show. I wore them first time with nothing underneath (besides my shorts) in 25-30 degrees with a good breeze and I had to use the vents much of the time. With winter tights underneath I would bet you'll roast. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
These are my go to pants for everything winter. These are not late winter/early spring pants. I have hiked for turns at 12000 ft in Colorado and climbed ice in New Hampshire in these pants. These are some WARM waterproof pants. I love how warm I stay in these pants, the inner thigh zips are key! If you overheat, unzip these, dump heat and zip back up.
I have been down to -5 degrees F in these pants and still toasty while either sitting around or belaying. There was 40 mph winds on a exposed cornice with spindrift while hiking for turns and these pants were my saviors.
The only cons I have about these pants are the inseam is too long and I think the fit should be a bit slimmer in the legs.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Theorem Pants:
Looked good and got them for my 20 year old son. Had to return them. Length was right but a medium was too tight for a slim to average guy. Tight at the knees, too. Couldn't bend them easily. Not much action happening there.
