Perfect mountaineering harness that allows comfortable walking and great packability. Leg loops unclip to allow crampons through easier. When I purchased it I thought it might be uncomfortable in anything less than mountaineering/skiing clothes to sit for an extended time but it was quite comfortable for an unpadded harness.

very compact & lightweight, uses 1" runner inside. nevertheless, i found it surprisingly less uncomfortable than I expected (i used it last weekend on ice climbing practice). cons: i could not do 'double-backing' in gloves, and even without gloves it's not simple; the loops are thin and soft, so taking out a biner while hanging off an ice tool is not [as] easy. i guess it will take time to adapt to it.

I've tried using this only for rock climbing. Its lightweight and small packing size makes it easy to fit in your already full pack. This is NOT padded though... so if you'r not using thick pants, falling on this could be a bit ***... Haven't tried falling on it though. But I'd go with it being unpadded as long as its lightweight and packable.
