Used for trip to south American rainforest biological survey. Very comfortable hiking in rainforest and walking in streams up to waist. Quick drying while wearing and didnt stick to leg or bunch up when wet. Difficult to wash with soap in shower or sink...underwear got 'fuzzy' after rubbing together for cleaning. Long dry time inside or outside overnight. Overall - better than cotton. Definitely would buy more.

I'm never going back to cotton. I wear these for general city dwelling in and around NYC. Things can get muggy and humid at times. Before I'd used briefs but was looking for something a bit more "relaxed" and I'd say they are worth every dime.
Yes, they do ride up but I'd say that's partly do the skinny jeans I like to wear. Wearing these boxers is like not wearing any underwear at all. Very breathable and I love how you can wash them by hand and they'll be dry within hours.
I also bought the high end Patagonia version of these and must say they also work quite well.
