I purchased this pouch to have a clear, lightweight sack to place electronics and my 1 liter 'liquids' bag into (to allow them to be easily removed for airport security screening). The bag is lightweight- but seems adequately durable as I have had my phone, iPod, charger plugs, cameras- as well as the liquids bag- all fit in. When I am able to whip these out- it makes security screening much easier and I have not had to have a hand search of my carry-on since the "suspicious" items are all laid out!
