Hauled two mountain bikes from the Gulf Coast to the Carolina mountains without any problems. Bikes had to be placed on the rack facing the same direction, not as recommended in the product brochure 'cause they wouldn't fit any other way; but they rode well just the same... 'Nice bike rack at a fair price. We'll just have to see how it holds up over time.

I borrowed this from a friend and I loved it. I had no fears that my bike would be rattling around or that anything would happen to my bike as I traveled.
My only issue is that it was a bit heavy and bulking when transporting it and that it only holds 2 bikes.

I did a lot of research into this bike rack, went through the fit guide, but in the end, 2 mountain bikes don't fit. I followed the instructions and all. For as much money as you spend on it, it should provide what the adverts say. I took it back.

This is soooo great and easy to use but it is heavy and I am soooo happy there are not ugly blue straps everywhere. Great product and soooo easy to install. Did have to buy an additional $40. bar for my girls bike but the guys pops right on.

This rack is alot better than I expected. It is very stable and holds the bikes perfectly. The only thing that may be an issue in the future is the straps that hold the bike on the rack may break later, but I think Thule sells extra straps for that and my bike left dents in the craddle that holds the bike, so eventually the padding may wear off.

I'm surprised to hear any complaints about this rack. The ratcheting cable attachment system is much more secure and neater than the straps that other racks use. It holds tight and nothing flaps in the wind. The locks for the bikes and the rack itself are a great feature. I've heard some complaints about the locks being flimsy, but so far I've had no problems. Maybe Thule addressed this by the time I got mine. It took a little practice mounting it to my BMW 3-Wagon and Toyota Venza, but it's easy now.
