Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
I have been wearing these for years. I have a dozen that I wear all the time. So I can speak from experience with the line. I don't think the latest versions are as nearly as good as in previous years. The collar puckered and was also wider than in the past. The elastic around the collar is unnecessary and annoying...The fit seemed a wee bit baggier. The version from a few years ago did not have a separate sewn in elastic band around the neck and was more comfortable....I am very disappointed with this and will be sending it back....Hopefully you will return to a version that is as comfortable and well thought out as those from a few years back....I hope that isn't too much to ask for.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
I have used these short sleeve tech wick shirts for years and love them. When I ordered them this time the material is a little different and did not fit nearly as well. They are tight through the shoulders. I would love to buy more of the old ones but would not purchase the new ones again.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
These moisture wicking shirts are fantastic!!
I've tried other brands but I keep coming back to these. When I'm hot and sweaty, these shirts glide across my skin instead of sitting heavily. This feels great! Despite heavily perspiring you don't feel like your wearing a big wet cotton shirt that your fighting the urge to tear off.
It's silky and smooth!
Whenever any kind of wind comes by, it sends a chill across your body as the moisture evaporates.
I think their stylish enough, and I'm a fan of the more loose fit of this cut.
I've bought several shirts and I'm even getting my friends addicted!
My ONLY complaint... is that VELCRO becomes your arch enemy. Contact with velcro causes "pulls" in the threading that basically never go away.
Other than that, <3

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
I bought a couple of these to use for summer travel. They are light and cool in warm weather. They are great for travel because you can wash them in a sink and their easy to towel dry plus they pack down so they don't take up much room in your bag. The only negative is they snag/pil easily.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
I wear this shirt for any outdoor activity in hot weather. Great for hiking, working out, or any activity where its moisture wicking capablility and comfort are needed. The ony negative is that it tends to snag when contacting rough surfaces. But, its still a great shirt.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
I've been buying these shirts for years and am loyal to EMS. The fit of this shirt is perfect for sports. However, about 2-3 years ago they switched from the mesh-like fabric of old to the current grid-face fabric and the shirts are not as good. The current fabric has some good traits - it is very light and does fine for easy workouts or breezy conditions - but it doesn't wick as well. It does not stand up to a heavy cardio workout or humid conditions the way the old shirts do. It feels wet and sticky as compared to the older versions. I'd be surprised if the product testers don't notice this if they compare. EMS please bring back the mesh fabric - the best wicking shirts ever made. You could continue to sell the current grid-face fabric as "Techwick Light" or something for those who prefer it.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Essential Crew, S/S:
Purchased several of these for warm weather missionary travel, worked great. Because of wicking, was able to wear several days in a row to pack light. Worn in tropical sunny climate, even the dark colors did not get hot like cotton T- shirts do. Sizes seem to run big, I purchased one size smaller than I usually wear. I don't like baggy t-shirts.
