Light techwick are the best I've found for heavy aerobic use, especially in hot sunny weather. I frequently wear the long sleeved ones in the sun, to reduce some of my exposure. Breath beautifully, as well as make a great base layer in the winter. Also smooth fabric creates no chafing issues. Size tends to run large, and sleeves a bit long.

My uses of Techwick long-sleeve and short sleeve shirts:Backpacking & day hiking, kayaking, running & walking, all types of physical work. They simply don't absorb and hold odor. Not to be gross but really--I've backpacked in hot and cold conditions,perspired hours on end, stayed dry and comfortable, and slept in the same shirt for days on end and it was still fresh as a daisy. In other words, it still performed and didn't smell! These are well worth the money.

My husband uses this shirt for gardening. The long sleeves and UPF 30+ help protect him from the sun since he's an avid gardener. The fabric washes and dries quickly and dirt and sweat come out easily. It does snag a bit, but its not a problem. He likes it very much.
