Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
Awesome! I purchased five of these tights (three black/two blue) for my daily runs (under shorts) and weekend hikes. They are very comfortable and warm, making the early morning runs more enjoyable--even with wind gusts, my legs are warm. Most importantly, during my runs, they do not in any way restrict my leg movements. I have also used them under pants for a few hikes around DC and in Shenendoah and they were equally comfortable in those situations. One of them snagged and ripped around the kneecap during a run, and they were cheerfully swapped out at the store in Arlington, VA. The one improvement I would make would be to make these maybe 1-1.25" longer to cover over the ankles.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I use the midweight T2's for cold walks to campus, hikes, and snowboarding trips around PA, they're great, and for the price, nothing can beat them. I also recommend the T3's which are a heavier weight which i use up on Vermont snowboarding trips. I've used these for several seasons now, and I have accumulated over 5-6 pairs. Great stuff.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I bought these pants specifically for running outside. Rather than wear bulky sweatpants, these tights are pretty perfect even in some tougher running conditions. I wear these under athletic shorts when I run, but coupled with the matching top and a couple of upper body layers, gloves, and a hat, I have run outside in very windy, 10 degree Fahrenheit weather, and these tights have kept me pretty warm.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I bought these for hunting but wore them earlier this week in the field on a construction project. It was in the low 30's, I was active most of the time and was perfectly comfortable without bibs or coveralls. Pricey but I'm getting soft in my old age, to me, these were worth the cost.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I took three of these T2 underpants and T2 undershirts with me to a ski trip. They were super warm and super awesome at keeping me dry the entire time. There was on day where I forgot to put on my fleece second lining over the underpants and I didn't realize that all I had on were my snow pants and these underpants. Surprisingly, I wasn't cold for the ENTIRE day! The only con that I could find is that they seem bulky when packing them in a suitcase. Otherwise, they feel very light on your person.
These are not the compression shirt and pants, which is what I wanted, and they don't feel like they get in the way, hang too loose ore hang too tight either. I'll be using these for skiing for quite a long time.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I work outdoors all day long for up to 12 hours a day. These are the perfect base layer for the cold days. Under a pair of jeans along with the long sleeve shirt they blow any traditional cotton long johns away. The wicking material feels great next to your skin and they stretch so they don't feel bulky like usual long underwear.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Men's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I use these mainly for casual wear during winter and they work great! I'm a waist 30 or 31 and I thought small would be too tight, but they fit well. They are also very lightweight and thin, but so far have provided great warmth. I've found that the material occasionally causes mild itchiness for me, but it's not a major concern.
I have not used these for any active sports. I'm a runner, but I don't like restrictive wear, so I wouldn't wear these for running.
