Have used these under warm up pants for winter running and as a base layer for skiing. Just the right level of warmth.
So for they have been holding up well to all the washings.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
Purchased these as a baselayer under rainpants or to wear as pjs for cold nights on Alaska camping honeymoon. Though I think they would probably provide me with the extra warmth needed when the temp drops and one reason why I bought them, however I wouldn't be caught dead in them to anyone's naked eye without a pant/skirt/towel or anything covering them. Not the most stylish/attractive fit, however I expected that...but found these even more old school than anticipated. They were extremely high wasted and had plenty of room if you are Santa, with a belly full of jelly and junk in the trunk. I think I should have went with the medium instead of the large, but was nervous about a tight fit. I am 5'7" & almost 140 lbs. Not for me...going to try something else... I would recommend this, but not to everyone.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
EMS sizing/design/material for Bergelene/TechWick has changed, once more. still like the product overall. this year's fabric is softer against the skin (like Bergelene was) yet more robust than the previous TechWick fabric. the sizing has changed entirely this year! nonetheless, since i spend much of the winter outdoors, i have found this an excellent product in all incarnations.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I work outside for the greater portion of the day and I find these long underwear to be comfortable and warm worn all day under a pair of workpants. The fit is not too tight so I don't feel like I've been poured into the fabric, and my mobility is great. I ride horses and wear these under my jeans during winter rides.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
These are comfortable, lightweight, and warm. My only complaint is that they are rather long. I often have that problem, because I'm only 5'1", tho. When wearing calf hieght winter boots, they are bunched up above the boot.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
Comfortable. Good warmth for a midweight base layer-- these have been adequate under my very lightly insulated snowboard pants during this very mild winter. I'll step up to heavyweight or powerstretch fleece (wish EMS had stocked deeper on those items!) for colder weather and for early spring paddling under a drysuit. Midweight have also been a great base for winter hiking. Fit seems sized normally.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Women's Techwick Midweight Tights:
I have a 29" waist, which according to the size chart is a medium, but the waistband on the medium was floppy on my waist and there was a lot room beneath the waist too. My old pair is a medium. There must have been a radical fit change.
The fabric looks the same at least, which means that if I can get a pair that fit, they'll be warm.
