I got this so I could play with my dogs out back while the sun is going down. They both seem to love it. Despite their best efforts, they can not seem to tear this thing up. My only issue with it, and it is a small one, is that when initally activating the battery, the plug that holds it in is very hard to get out. But i guess that's part of the reason my dogs have a tough time tearing it up.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is the coolest ball. It's bouncy and changes colors. I have two golden retriever puppies and they love to play with this in the house or to play fetch outside at night. It's very bright and the dogs are still entertained by it weeks later. I would recommend this to anyone with dogs. The ball is a bit heavy but my 15 lb pup has no trouble carrying it anymore.
