These pants are warm with a cozy fleece lining. They look great on, whether you are curvy like me or long and thin like the friend who told me about them.. You can dress them up or down, depending on what you wear with them. They're super comfortable...great for long airline travel. I do wish the waistband was stitched so it wouldn't twist when washed. Also the fabric pills, but these are still my favorite pants!

Wore these on a long day of shooting outside in below freezing temps. Put them over light-weight long johns - unbelievable warmth. BUT, better than that is how good they look on. A female colleague, who was wearing a similar but different brand, told me they made my butt look good and wanted the same kind. Success.

I wear these pants for my daily run, but I keep them on afterwards because they are so comfortable and they look so good. Never had such a good pair of running pants.

I use this pant everyday. I wear it to do my walk also use it everyday for around town. It is not only the most comfortable sport pant I own, but it is stylish and warm.

I love these pants; good for throwing on in the morning to do errands. Also great for winter walking, hiking, etc.

This is my second pair of these pants. I live in the Northeast and walk my dog for an hour everyday in the woods. These pants are perfect for all weather conditions in fall and winter. Last year's model of these pants are terrific. Because I didn't want to wear the same pair everyday,I got a second pair this year. In every respect except the waist, these are still great pants. But this year, they chose to use a thick, wide elastic at the waist instead of last year's moderate elastic. The elastic feels tough and uncomfortable and worst of all, it curls and after the first use, won't stay flat anymore. It has ruined the experience of these pants, which were the world's most comfortable pants in last year's model.

Very comfortable for running, hiking or lounging. Repels water and snow. At 5'2", the short version is a perfect fit. The boot cut is very flattering. I am on my way to buy 2 more pair.

I needed outdoor aerobic warm winter black pants for officiating women's games in colder weather (Phila area). These are fantastic - everything is great for running, ease of movement, non-constricting, no zippers, belts, buckles, snaps, pull-on, pull=off, elastic stretch & ebony black. Only thing missing is pockets. Length & size are great - however, if b/n sizes & like a roomier fit, order up, as these are form fitting with no hiding imperfections. Have a boot bottom which affords the pant a dressier look.

First, the pros:
-Love the smoother outer finish (I have a white husky who leaves hair everywhere - these are the first black pants I've owned that don't look like they are covered in fur) and love the fleece interior.
-Boot cut is nice(though would love to see them with a flare option as well)
-Warm in the right context (ie when used with a baselayer or on a non-windy day).
-They seem durable and a comfortable.
-Length is right on (I questioned rather to purchase Short, as I am 5'7 but with very short legs for my height (31" inseam is my ideal)- these shrunk to the perfect length.

The cons:
-The first pair I ordered (size XS) fit very strangely, way way too much fabric below the butt and on inside of upper thigh near crotch - it made it look like i had an oddly flaring thigh - nobody in size xs would need this kind of extra material in those locations.
-I exchanged for an identical pair (XS), and they fit better, though this time the extra fabric was right in front of the crotch (still noticeable after washing/drying), but so comfortable that I wear them for snowshoeing, etc. regardless.
-Be aware that they are not designed to be wind-proof, so you may need to layer well.

So many wonderful reviews of these pants, and I can see why - BUT, be aware of possible sewing discrepancies. EMS, if you fix the sewing in the crotch area and offer these in a dark gray, I would be in heaven!

I wear these pants 4-5 days a week! Very warm and flattering too. I can't say enough about these pants. Great for hiking but can dress up for a causal look with a pair of clogs. I can't wait to by another pair!!
