Comments about MSR Denali Evo Snowshoes, Green:

Great shoes for the price! The only downside is the general difficulty in obtaining the proper flotation tails for my size and heavier loads. However, the flotation tails allow for more versatility in the shoe. Being plastic, they're maybe a little bit louder than either wooden or aluminum shoes, but not enough to be an annoyance (just something that I noticed once or twice during a multi-mile hike). I also noticed that the shoes can be scratched if you are not careful with your foot or pole placement. I suppose this is no different than any other shoe with a crampon or traction rail binding. This does not detract from the performance of the shoe and the plastic appears to be extremely durable. The traction is excellent and the shoes performed extremely well.
