Comments about BYER OF MAINE The EasyCot:
Outstanding cot. The "pros" for this cot are excellent. But the "easy cot" design does give a it a tendency to fold up if you try to move it to adjust its placement. Once it is where you want it, it is very stable.
Pros
- Large sleeping area
- very easy setup
Cons
- Not Lightweight
Best Uses
- Car Camping
Comments about BYER OF MAINE The EasyCot:
Pretty much what I expected based on other, mostly favorable, reviews. I have struggled assembling other cots. This one practically falls open.

- Lightweight
- Sturdy
Cons
- Not too compact
Best Uses
- Spare bed at home
- Tent Camping
Comments about BYER OF MAINE The EasyCot:
My husband, who's not a fan of sleeping right on the ground, bought two of these for our most recent camping trip. When they say EasyCot, they mean it - this thing goes from folded to completely set up in about 4 seconds. It's a roomy, firm surface to sleep on and the legs are very sturdy. Packing it back up is equally easy. We had a large, two-room tent in which these fit perfectly - I wouldn't recommend them for smaller dome-style tents because they do take up quite a bit of space when set up. When folded up they're similar in size to a fold-up chair so they don't take up much space. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase.
Pros
- Easy to set up
- Super comfortable
- Super easy to set up
- Tons of space
Cons
- Heavy
Best Uses

Comments about BYER OF MAINE The EasyCot:
My husband and I have gone back and forth between cots and air mattresses for tent camping... he likes cots and I'm an air mattress gal. I was sick of re-inflating saggy air mattresses, and he was sick of wrestling with those terrible tension bars on regular-style cots. I finally found these after much research, and we couldn't be happier. We just got back from a three-night tent camp, and these cots were fantastic. They literally take 15 seconds to set up, and they seem a little more comfy than the standard stretched-canvas cots. They also have tons of room, he could even lay in one with our 20-month old next to him. These are awesome, totally worth the extra $.
