This is a fantastic sleeping bag. The quality of materials and construction is top knotch. The bag is lightweight,super warm, has plenty of room. I really like the design of the hood and draft collar, easy to operate and works well. The Western Mountaineering zipper design is very effective in keeping the zipper from snagging, making the bag very easy to get in and out of. I own other high end bags from name brand manufacturers but Western Mountaineering beats them hands down.

The Western Mountaineering Alpinelite is fantastic! The best bag I have owned and I will likely only use Western Mountaineering bags from now on. The bag is very well made and you can see and feel the quality. I really like the rigid tape that is next to the zipper that prevents the fabric from catching, it really works. The bag is warm, super lite, there is plenty of room, and it compresses very well. The bag did great backpacking in the Sierras, no problem staying warm even with frost on the ground in the mornings. In my opinion the Alpinelite is the best 3-season bag on the market.
