I was looking all over the place for a jacket for my 7-month old short-haired shepherd/lab mix. She doesn't seem to get too cold, but starts to shiver when it rains or snows heavily. I figured a light weight, water-proof jacket would be the way to go. It was impossible to find anything out there that looked like it would stand up to wear and tear, nor did it look athletic enough for my outdoorsy pooch. Well, I came across the Cloud Chaser and was beyond extactic. I just picked one up for my 50 lb pup (size Medium) and it fits really well. She seems to love it. We just tried it out in the snow, now. She had a little extra bounce in her step (I think she knows she looks good). Great product! Might have to get my other dog one, now, so they can match!

This jacket was nicely made and easy to put on. The only issue was that if my dog were to try to urinate with this on it would have run right into the jacket. If the company cuts the pattern with this in mind it would be perfect. Just a U shaped cut on the underside near the rear would do it.

I have a German Shorthaired Pointer male who weighs 52lbs and measured 22 inches from the base of his neck to the base of his tail. He is 8 months and fit very nicely into the medium.

Great product. Purchased three total - xs, s, and l. Two were for older dogs and the everyday neighborhood walks, the other for a dog that hikes regularly in all weather., Light weight, and keeps the dog warm and dry. Covers the chest and stomach to just nicely. However, for shorter torso dogs (Beagles, Pugs, Bostons, etc) the length of the coat overlaps the tail. Dogs didn't seem to mind too much. For the larger dogs, it's a perfect fit all around. This is an athletic fit and tapers in the cut. If your dog is chunkier and (s)he is on the higher end of the inches for sizing, move up one size. One of my pups has a congenital bowed rib cage issue. A extra small fit great in legs, neck, and upper body, but could not zip up past the lower ribs. Moved up to a small and fit fine. Even with it loose a bit in neck and legs, it was still a good fit.

This fits my 2 1/2 yr old 60 pound Female PitBull Memphis perfect! It's a medium and the length is just right!! Very easy to put on and the zipper is awesome! Living in the White Mountains and having a dog with short hair, this was a blessing to find!!! It keeps her dry and warm. And in the "red" it's easy to see her. I do see the problem if you own a male dog, There is no room for he's "gems" and can see how they will pee on it. I suggest until they improve the design for males, take it to the tailor for a minor adjustment.

We have a Weimaraner and live in upstate NY. Winters are long and cold. She never liked going out in the cold. First time I ever bought a coat for one of my dogs. Wasn't sure how she'd take to it but, she loves it. She no longer hesitates when going out in the cold/rain. Very easy to put on and doesn't seem to restrict her movements.

Mostly, it's a great product and seems like good quality. The worst part is the sizing on the website - it's just simply not accurate. My dog's widest part (ribcage) is 32" and it's right between a M and a L. I bought both, just in case. The M could NOT even zip up. The large is a bit big, but at least it zips. And the belly portion really needs to be re-thought as it covers his private parts, even with the M size! I had to sew it a little shorter so he could pee. Also, the arm bands cut into his "elbows" and rubbed his fur away, so I had to remove the "bands" so that the sleeves just hang loose. Otherwise, love the reflective part and he seems to like it a lot. would love to see a warmer option for the belly part, as that's where he has very little fur, but it helps at least. Overall, I'm glad I have it for the winter, but for [$], I wish it had a little more thought put into it. BTW, it's really easy to put on if you keep the top part zipped a little and slip it over his head, then pull each paw through.

This coat is so easy to put on, nice flap that covers the zipper too. Thick enough to add the extra layer that our weimeraner needs yet snug enough that he can run & play with ease. Our pup does not mind strutting his stuff in his ruffwear!

The coat is attractive, well made and easy to put on my dog. She did not love it at first, but she is getting used to it. I like the quality and that it is reflective. A good buy.

Fits well, but a little snug in the chest. It really could use a little more room in the girth to allow for weight fluctuations or big chested dogs. Hank is a 57 lb brittany mix and I bought him a large size the first time. It was too big and covered him too much so he could not relieve himself without wetting the jacket. The medium works much better and does not obstruct anything. He can run through the woods just as well as he can without it. He is 9 yrs old and I feel better knowing he can keep warmer when we walk on cold Michigan winter days.
